CCMN Global Summit 2012 was awesome!  We met 450 people from 35 different nations, some exciting networks springing up such as Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Lebanon, Tunisia, etc!  As we networked, heard God’s movement among the nations, and dreamed together how to work together, the world became closer, hearts were enflamed with missions fire, and the mission movement goes forward!  We are excited for STM 2013, hopefully opening up a lot more doors to the Middle East!

We also got a chance to attend the first Global SMART Team Summit!  The SMART Team is a multi-church mobilizing group for the mission movement.  We are the ones behind the scenes who do our best to train and network people for missions in a church-based global movement!  =)  Many new SMART Teams were starting up including Brazil and Canada, and the SMART Team is now having a global team who meet over the internet and work together to see Christ glorified in our unity!  May we reach all the nations of the earth (Mt 28.18-20) through teamwork together!

Our missions rally was a success! Thanks to all came out to hear about the need, living as the Church, and fulfilling the Great Commission! Here are a few updates as we are moving forward to prepare for our 2012 season of short term missions!

1. Don’t forget to register for short term missions! Click here. Even if you are unsure you are able to go this summer because of scheduling conflicts, please register by faith and continue to pray! It’s better to cover this part and God could possibly open the door!

2. Please mark your calendars! Our first training will take place on April 14th (Saturday) from 8:30AM-12:30PM @ Home of Christians in Hacienda Heights!

3. Check our Files and Links sections as they have been updated. We uploaded the brochure sent out by CCMN that will give you specific information about each of the mission fields including costs, duration, and the types of ministry you will be doing.  **Costs listed do not include the price of the plane ticket of traveling to and from Hong Kong. Please email us.smart.team@gmail.com if you have any questions about purchasing plane tickets!**
